Quality mana gement system in occupational health visual “Implement of visual proteccion in carpinter business, study of case”

Abstract

Occupational health is the set of multidisciplinary activities, focused to the promotion, evaluation, prevention, control, recovery and rehabilitation, to the protect them of the risks of its battle area and locating them in a labor atmosphere in agreement with its physicological and psychological conditions. The purpose of this work is to elevate physical, mental and social level in workers of a company in order to reduce the risk factors produced by the industrial and occupational accidents, by means of the improvement and the maintenance of the health general conditions and worker´s life quality; implementing a management system of security and occupational health based on OSHAS 18001. It was a descriptive study made in the company COOPCAMECOL LTDA. Where the workers were evaluated in order to establish the most affected area by accidents concerned at ocular level, an evaluation of risks identification for different works areas was made and determined that the zone with more amount of accidents was the wood brush area. Thus implementing, the suitable visual proteccion for the workwr in this area. In the same way, increasing worker´s motivation by the improvement of its work conditions improving quality of worker´s life.
