Optical vergences system as a derivative of geometrical optics

Abstract

Many optometry students don’t grasp easily the similarities between the Optical Vergences System and Geometrical Optics through which they went during the previous academic semester. There are, of course, some differences but these are mostly of form rather than essentials.
