Abstract
Atrophia bulbi is a complication of long standing hipotony, severe ocular trauma, intraocular inflammation and absolute glaucoma. When the ocular contents are disorganized, thickened escleral in the posterior aspect, cataract, hemorrhages, glials proliferations and intraocular calcifications is determined as Ptisis bulbi. The spontaneous episodes of recurrent hemorrhages or inflammation may cause severe pain the enucleation or evisceration may be required.
