Chronic or recurrent blepharitis

Abstract

Chronic blepharitis is a challenge in clinical practice because there are many factors involved which might cause it or predispose its recurrence. The presence of seborrhea or parasites (acarus) in the palpebral pilose follicles such as Demodex Folliculorum, are conditions which are easy to handle but difficult to achieve total resolution. This article presents a bibliographic revision of the therapeutic choices for each case.
