Lead, chromium III and chromium VI and its impact on human health

Abstract

In the occupational environment as a result from diverse industrial processes, the workers are exposed to different compounds containing toxic metals as the chrome and lead, causing high risk of occupational diseases and affecting the ecosystem. The present article is a review on the toxic metals lead, chrome III and chrome VI and its effects on the human health. A brief description is included also on the nature of these elements, how they contaminate the environment, how occurs the exposure, and some safety precautions are compiled to minimize it.
